Masters sponsors Ely Hero Awards

Masters Logistical are delighted to announce that we are sponsoring this year’s Ely Hero Awards.

First launched in 2017, The Ely Hero Awards are organised by the drain care and repair specialists Metro Rod Cambridge and in partnership with The Ely Standard. The Awards aim to shine a light on the heroes in Ely’s community that are the most compassionate, determined, honourable, kind, supportive and brave. All qualities that are highly valued at Masters.

There are 10 categories in which individuals can nominate their special ‘hero’ who lives or works in Ely and the surrounding villages, within a 10-mile radius.

Award categories are ‘Smiliest’ Server, Colleague of the Year, Caring Companion, Most Amazing Professional, Neighbour of the Year, Community Champion, Best Teacher, Child of Achievement, Sporting Hero and The Ely Hero.

As one of the sponsors, our Business & Commercial Development Manager Mervyn Jeffery, attended the Ely Hero Award’s launch event on the 5^th March:

“It was an honour to attend the launch event for the Ely Hero Awards alongside 60 other local business people and civic dignitaries. Being a long established, local business, we are very proud to be supporting this year’s Ely Hero Awards and celebrating the amazing people that live and work in Ely, making it one of the greatest cities. The team at Masters are really looking forward to attending the awards on the 25^th June to celebrate these people and their great achievements.”

Nominations for the 2018 Ely Hero Awards can be made via the website at www.elyheroawards.org.uk and the Awards are to be held at The Maltings on the 25^th June.
