The client
Anson are a UK-based food storage manufacturer, owned by leading European packaging company Faerch Plast. Together, they specialise in many different types of packaging, and they pride themselves on being able to meet the needs of any client.
The challenge
Not long ago, Anson were faced with a problem regarding their internal storage unit. In short: it simply wasn’t big enough. Because of this, Anson were losing productivity as they were only able to produce small batches as they couldn’t house any more than that. Their service levels dropped, and they realised the need to source a bigger storage solution.
The solution
In terms of location, Masters Logistical could not have been more convenient being situated only a few miles away from Anson’s head office in Cambridge. Masters also came highly recommended by Anson’s existing supply chain, and following a discussion with the team, Anson knew right away that Masters were able to deliver the service they needed.
The outcome
Since implementing the services of Masters Logistical, Anson have seen all of their problems disappear: Masters provided the storage solution they sought after, they have provided weekend flexibility and have helped them with shunting – the transportation of finished goods. Anson have been extremely impressed with the fact that Masters work over weekends, as they have recognised that many companies do not provide service outside of the working week.
