In 2015, Masters were nominated for the Bronze Award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) by the people who feel supported – our employees. Since then, we have been proud holders and to this day we continuously support our employees who have served in the Armed Forces and those that currently serve in the reserve.
The ERS was introduced to the private and public sector to recognise support for the Armed Forces and for welcoming veterans into employment. The scheme includes bronze, silver and gold awards for organisations that pledge their support to the Defence and Armed Forces and encourage other organisations to do the same.
Veterans and Reservists bring a variation of transferable skills and qualities to the civilian workplace, developed throughout their military careers.
Currently Masters employ four people who served in the Armed Forces, one of them now being the Operations Director, Mark Stoodley who was a veteran member of the Armed Forces.
By upholding the bronze award, it confirms Master’s are armed forces-friendly and are open to employing people who have served in the Armed Forces, these include reservists, armed forces veterans, cadet instructors and military spouses.
We’re proud to pledge support to the Armed Forces and we will support any member of staff that is a serving member of The Army Reserve.
